Light Chasing

I've been quiet, brother. So, too, have you. I don't know what to tell you: life's been docile? I'm at a roll on work, the number of consecutive students returning impressive test scores high, but without an investment in these particular students, there's not much reason for you (or anyone else, for that matter) to care.

I'm running plenty - this isn't news. I'm wishing the end of March, and the next time I get to see you, were sooner. Neither is this news. I didn't call you tonight - lost track of time, then it was late. You didn't call me the other night - something came up. We talk when it works out, and that's something, I suppose.

You've probably some small dramas, and I suppose if I dug I could find some of my own as well, but mostly I think life is for each of us quiet. And that, I think is a good thing.

Mostly, I think, we're finding peace.

To quiet days and weeks and months, then, to light chasing and good mornings and the forever promise that someday we'll be better at keeping in touch. Let's talk soon?
